- The objectives of this RFP are as follows: 1) To acquire a single supplier for natural gas and administrative related services for five (5) WCB locations (4 in Edmonton, 1 in Calgary); 2) To better manage and reduce where possible overall natural gas costs; and 3) To decrease the WCB-s natural gas related administrative costs through consolidated billing and other cost saving measures. The WCB is interested in entering into a term for up to five (5) years commencing June 1, 2025. The term will be determined during Phase III of the evaluation process. The WCB may elect to negotiate, with the Supplier, one (1) renewal period, which may be up to five (5) years in length. A renewal of or amendment(s) to an Agreement may cover Natural Gas Supply Services fulfilling a function similar, but not necessarily identical, to those outlined in this RFP.
