    Detailed_Description : The objective of this RFB is for the Vendor to build and deliver one (1) 24-foot to 26-foot aluminum vessel as further described below (the β€œVessel”) and trailer, and to also install and deliver a main outboard engine and kicker motor, a net lifter and marine electronics supplied for the Ministry-s use in various field locations, primarily on Lake Huron all as further described below.
    Scope of Work : The Ministry-s, Upper Great Lakes Management Unit - Lake Huron is responsible for monitoring, assessment, and research of Lake Huron-s aquatic resources to ensure long-term sustainability of Lake Huron-s ecosystem. Gill netting is an efficient and established method of collecting fish population data. Netting for fish on Lake Huron and its embayment-s is unique in that it requires a vessel that meets strict safety criteria in hull design to handle the weather conditions Lake Huron and Georgian Bay can produce. This Vessel will be used to sample fish in the nearshore and offshore environments of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay
