Description:
1. This RFP is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been pre-qualified based on specific information previously submitted through The City-s RFPQ 06-006. Proposals will only be considered from proponents that have achieved a pre-qualification under the RFPQ category Bridges and Other Transportation Structures - Maint & Rehab PSP91003 and Building Structural PSP91025. 2. The City of Calgary is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of retaining one (1) consulting firm for structural engineering inspection services for The City-s transit infrastructures, including LRT bridges, pedestrian bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, station platforms, canopies, station heads, and ancillary buildings, as well as Transit maintenance facilities. 3. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. The Expiry Date for the Agreement will be after five (5) years from the effective date.
