Description:
Rocky View County needs an after-hour dog care facility to help the dogs and owners of the lost dog. III. The required Deliverables: The successful proponent shall be required to deliver the following: • Available to accept dogs 365 days a year between the hours of 0800 and 2400 (8 AM and 1200 PM) • Short-term and longer-term stays may be required. • Climate-controlled facility. • Separate kennels or stalls for each dog. • Quarantine area if needed. • Available food and water if required for incoming dogs. • Ability to accept “vicious” dogs. • Contact person and phone number for after-hours calls. • Proper security controls if narcotics and/or controlled substances are kept on site. • Compliant with all Canadian Veterinary codes of practice. • Compliance with the Noise bylaw if located within Rocky View County. • Adequate fencing for any outside runs or exercise areas. • What is their disposition of any unclaimed animals? • All required local permits have been applied for and issued. • Valid identification produced by anyone claiming a dog. • Notify Enforcement Services of the name and address of any dogs claimed by a resident of Rocky View County.
