In 2023, the Town of Pelham completed a Stormwater Management Facility Needs Program on all of its stormwater management facilities. The study identified maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations for each of the assets. In 2025, the Town of Pelham would like to remediate three stormwater management facilities including;
The Orchards Stormwater Management Facility is a wet pond facility with a as-constructed permanent pool volume of 223 m3. Based on the condition assessment, the permanent pool volume is approximately 65% full of sediment. Timmsdale Stormwater Management Facility, is a wet pond facility with a as-constructed permanent pool volume of 490 m3. Based on the conditon assessment, the permanent pool volume is approximately 70% full of sediment, and significant sediment accumulation in the forebay. Concord Street Stormwater Management Facility is a dry pond facility with a as-constructed storage volume of 355 m3. Based on the condition assessment, the sand has reduced flood storage volume by 17% and is recommended to be removed to maintain storage volume. (PROVISIONAL) - Documents:
