Established in 2007, Clearwater is a growing community of approximately 2,388 residents, located at the confluence of the Clearwater and North Thompson Rivers, 124 km north of Kamloops. Known as the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park, Clearwater is renowned for its exceptional tourism opportunities and scenic natural landscapes.The new OCP will build upon the 2012 version by addressing current priorities such as climate change mitigation, Indigenous reconciliation, housing affordability, and emergency preparedness.
