Description:
Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, as represented by Corporate Services, in partnership with Edwards Edwards McEwens Architects, is requesting sealed tenders for the construction of four (4) Modular Classroom Units and associated Corridors and Stairwells for St. Joseph High School. Tenders will be received from General Contractors until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Tuesday March 18, 2025 at Corporate Services, St. Paul-s R.C.S.S.D. #20, Fourth Floor, 420 - 22nd Street East, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7K 1X3. Please be advised that all Bids are to be submitted electronically in accordance with Section 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Bid Documents may be obtained by Contractors from the offices of: Edwards Edwards McEwen Architects, 202 Avenue B North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7L 1E2 on deposit of $100.00, which will be refunded when plans and specifications are returned in good order within one week after date of closing of tenders. Otherwise, this deposit, or a portion thereof, may be forfeited to defray replacement costs. Drawings may also be viewed at the Saskatoon Construction Association. Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a recognized bonding company in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tender price. The successful tender will be required to furnish a Performance Bond as well as a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount as soon as the contract is signed. A Letter of Surety guaranteeing compliance must be included in the tender. The low or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
