- The 2025 Contract Gravel Haul Program is being used to prolong the life of existing road infrastructure by re-graveling sections of local roads per specification standards. This work involves hauling and designated spreading of approximately 41,790 tonnes of M.D. supplied gravel on 181 kilometres of local roads within the municipality. The MD owns and operates four gravel pits within its boundaries. In 2025, Council approved a re-gravel budget to protect Municipal local roads. The local roads re-gravelling strategy is on a three-year rotation.
