- The City of Lethbridge acknowledges that we are gathered on the lands of the Blackfoot people of the Canadian Plains and pays respect to the Blackfoot people past, present and future while recognizing and respecting their cultural heritage, beliefs, and relationship to land. The City of Lethbridge offers respect to the Metis and all who have lived on this land and made Lethbridge their home. The asphalt supplied will be used for routine maintenance as well as rehabilitation of selected segments Arterial, Collector and local roads throughout the City of Lethbridge which will extend pavement life for approximately 15 more years. The typical work involves overlay, minor and major repair. It is also used for repair of lanes, pathways and water works rehabilitation. Scope The highest evaluated bidder will supply the City with the following mixes and estimated quantities as follows: 1. Type 1 Asphalt surface Course 6700 ton 2. Type 2 Asphalt Surface Course 600 ton 3. Type 3 Asphalt Surface Course 5500 ton 4. Type 3/R Asphalt Surface Course 2500 ton 5. Superpave - Fine 12.5 NMS with PG 64 -34 6000 ton 6. Type 3 12.5 Cold Mix Asphalt 400 ton 7. Tack coat oil -Type SS-1 100,000 litres. NB: i) Type 3-12.5mm Cold Mix Asphalt shall include all costs associated with delivery the asphalt mix to locations within the City of Lethbridge boundaries. ii) All Performance Grade Asphalt binder shall incorporate liquid antistrip additive at a minimum of 0.3% addition rate as stipulated in the curre...
