This Request for Information (RFI) aims to engage a management consulting firm to conduct a third-party review of the Facilities Maintenance Department of School District No. 35 (Langley) with the objective of identifying potential cost-saving efficiencies. The District is committed to providing high-quality services and maintaining a highly collaborative, unionized workforce. It is essential to uphold, if not improve, the quality of service provided to the 48 schools and 4 administrative/operational facilities, while preserving strong relationships with the unionized workforce. The District seeks a comparative analysis of its current service delivery and operational conditions against industry standards, such as RS Means, BOMA, VFA, similar school districts, and other established benchmarks. This RFI is not a call for tenders or proposals. By participating in this RFI, respondents acknowledge that no contract or legal obligations will arise from their submission. Responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by SD35 to form a binding agreement.
