Where it states a loader, a bucket must come with it and no charge.

A 13'6" one way plow will be accepted where it states 14' One Way Plow.

The intent of this tender is to solicit pricing for the rental of Backhoes, Front-End Loaders and Graders for the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI).

The primary use of the backhoe or loader is for activities associated with the handling and management of salt and/or sand related to winter road maintenance. Suppliers shall take note that several locations require equipment that will be used for plowing; such locations are noted as needing a plow and/or a wing. Secondary activities may include, but are not limited to, ditching, inventory management and other requirements within the District operations. DTI shall encourage their staff to use a Front-End Loader if/when at all possible while working with the salt distribution.

DTI staff shall operate all rented equipment.

Following the issuance of a Purchase Order, District staff will contact successful Bidders to
arrange delivery of the equipment.

The equipment will be required between November 7th, 2025, and May 8th, 2026 (approximately).
