- Tender are invited for 2025-2026 Winter Monthly Equipment Rentals
Tender Details The intent of this tender is to solicit pricing for the rental of Backhoes, Front-End Loaders and Graders for the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI).
The primary use of the backhoe or loader is for activities associated with the handling and management of salt and/or sand related to winter road maintenance. Suppliers shall take note that several locations require equipment that will be used for plowing; such locations are noted as needing a plow and/or a wing. Secondary activities may include, but are not limited to, ditching, inventory management and other requirements within the District operations. DTI shall encourage their staff to use a Front-End Loader if/when at all possible while working with the salt distribution.
DTI staff shall operate all rented equipment.
Following the issuance of a Purchase Order, District staff will contact successful Bidders to
arrange delivery of the equipment.
The equipment will be required between November 7th, 2025, and May 8th, 2026 (approximately).
PLEASE READ ALL ATTACHMENTS FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Awards will be made to the lowest compliant bid price for each location, provided the price does not exceed maximum monthly rates. DTI reserves the right to add additional locations or equipment throughout the term of this contract as required by district operations

specify if the equipment will be used for plowing, but the price remains the same). The list of equipment below reflects the maximum price (per month) permitted when bidding. DTI will
reject any monthly rates for equipment that exceed the stated maximum price:
