- The City of Kawartha Lakes and their partners have been working hard to make roads passable after the ice storm that occurred on Saturday, Mar 29, 2025.
Tree branches and debris have been moved to the side of the road, ditches and boulevards to allow for the flow of traffic unimpeded.
The City is now undertaking Phase II of the clean-up in rural areas, which will be to remove all tree debris and transport it to designated disposal locations.
Vendors will be added on an ongoing basis until such time as the City has fulfilled enough crews to complete the work.
