- The City of Kitchener is seeking to retain professional services to complete sediment surveys, and to produce a technical memorandum summarizing the sediment volumes at various Stormwater Management (SWM) ponds throughout the City of Kitchener (City) and provide recommendations for maintenance frequencies for each SWM facility.
The basis of payment under this contract will be in the actual amount of work done for 87 City owned and operated stormwater management wet ponds and wetlands:
Bathymetric survey to include all elevations below the permanent pool water level, and all flow control structures between the inlet and outlet of the stormwater management facility.Topographical plans and cross section drawings to visually represent the permanent pool volumes, and sediment volumes in each facility.Notation of the extents of any existing invasive Phragmites species to be displayed on drawings. - Documents:
