- Description:
- The City of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, is seeking quotes from professional chain link installation companies to undertake a partial installation of a chain link security fence around the City of North Battleford/Cameron MacIntosh Airport. This is a multi-year program with the City installing a section of the fencing each year until then entire perimeter fence is completed. The intent of this request is to select a Contractor who has the expertise to construct of an 8-foot (2.4 metre) chain link fence. The work shall include the removal of a portion of an existing perimeter barbwire fence and replacement with a chain link fence. The City has approximately $85,000 budgeted in 2024 for this project. The Contractor will supply all labour, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision to safely construct the fence that will partially surround the airport. The work will include the taking down the existing barbwire fence, including removal and collection of fence staples, pulling of the existing posts and stacking them neatly for removal by others, and rolling up the barbwire for removal by others.
