- The Province, as represented by Alberta Energy and Minerals, will be attending several mining and minerals conferences in 2024 to promote Alberta-s critical minerals sector, in support of Alberta-s Minerals Strategy and Action Plan: Renewing Alberta-s Mineral Future. The Province has received approval to build and operate an exhibitor booth at three conferences in 2024. The three events requiring booths include:• The Association of Mineral Exploration (AME) Roundup Conference 2024 (Roundup 2024) in Vancouver, BC from January 22 to 25 2024, at the Vancouver Conference Centre;• The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Conference 2024 (PDAC 2024) in Toronto, ON from March 3 to 6, 2024, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre; and• GeoConvention 2024 in Calgary, AB from June 17 to 19, 2024, at the Telus Convention Centre.The Province is requesting proposals for the construction of an Alberta Pavilion (booth) at these three conferences. The Province requires the services of a qualified contractor to coordinate, construct, provide services and administer the Province-s participation to facilitate a unified image for provincial representation at the Alberta Pavilion using existing exhibition displays and any additional display materials as needed. Final booth designs will be subject to review by Alberta Communications and Public Engagement to ensure compliance with Visual Identity Standards (https://www.alberta.ca/government-identity-program.aspx).
