- Douglas County Project 2022-31 consists of removing an existing 22 ft Reinforced Concrete Slab Simple Span (RCSS), construct a 24--32--24- Reinforced Concrete Haunched Slab (RCHS) Bridge. Items include Contractor Staking, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading, Steel Piling, Resteel, Structural Concrete, Concrete Pavement (10”), Rip Rap, Aggregate Base (AB-3), Commercial Grade (Class A) Base, Commercial Grade (Class A) Surface, Surfacing Material (AB-3), Seeding, and Traffic Control.
Project 2022-31 is located on N900 Road between E1000 and E1100 Roads approximately 6 miles southwest of Lawrence, KS.
The anticipated “Early Notice to Proceed” is June 2, 2025. The anticipated “Late Notice to Proceed” is August 4, 2025. Complete all work necessary to open the bridge to unrestricted traffic within Eighty (80) Working Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). - Documents:
