Summary Details:
The Town of Smithers is seeking quotations for supply, delivery to the Town of Smithers Cemetery, and installation of a 96-niche columbarium unit with the general appearance and specifications to approximately match the cemetery's existing columbaria.
This Request for Quotation offers two bidding options:
Part 1 (All bidders) - Supply and installation of a 96-niche columbarium unit.
Part 2 (Optional to Bidders) - In addition to Part 1, construction of an exposed aggregate concrete columbarium base in the Town of Smithers Cemetery on which to install the columbarium.
Vendors accustomed to completing full installation of their units with their own forces have the option to bid under Part 2. Columbarium suppliers unable to provide a complete installation should bid only Part 1. Under this option, Town of Smithers will procure and prepare a concrete base at Town of Smithers Cemetery on which the supplier will install the columbarium. See Section G: Submission Evaluation for details on how the Town will evaluate and compare quotes.
