Summary Details:
This RFP is a reposting for MCFD-08-2020 in which there were no successful proponents matched with that opportunity. The geographical scope of this RFP has been expanded to include the East & West Kootenay for the provision of this service.
The Ministry provides a continuum of residential resources including family homes and contracted Staffed Residential Resources for children with special needs aged 6-18 years.
Children and Youth Special Needs - refers to those children and youth under 19 years of age who require additional educational, medical/health and social/environmental support to enhance or improve health, development, learning, quality of life, participation and community inclusion.
The Ministry of Children and Family Development is seeking proposals in the area of Specialized Residential Services for children and youth with special needs (CYSN). This RFP is specifically seeking proponents who can provide staffed residential resources and supports to children, youth and families with complex behavioural and/or medical issues, autism, developmental disabilities or are dysfunctional.
