Description:
Town of Porcupine Plain - Water Line Replacement The Town of Porcupine Plain is requesting tenders to complete water main and service replacements on Swaan Street from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue. The approximate length of 4” cast iron pipe to be removed is 140 meters, which is to be replaced with 6” PVC pipe. Tenders will be received by email at porcupineplain@sasktel.net or at the Town of Porcupine Plain Box 310 Porcupine Plain, SK S0E 1H0 up to 2:00 p.m. local time, April 9 2025. Water Line Replacement will consist of: Removing 4” cast iron water line and replacing with 6” PVC pipe. (Approximate length 140 meters) Service replacement to 11 properties. Installation of one additional curb stop at 2nd Avenue. Replacing curb stop on opposite side of 2nd Avenue. Replacing the fire hydrant at 2nd Avenue. 2 - 6” tees will also be required. The bidder agrees to provide all material, supplies, supervision, labour and equipment required to perform and complete all work in accordance with OHS standards. A brief description of work to be performed is requested. WCB Clearance and Proof of Liability Insurance required. Tenders to be opened at the April 9, 2025 council meeting.
