- Description:
- The objective of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select an Engineering Consultant to provide engineering services for all or part of the Project components. Work will include data review, field investigation, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimation, and all associated work. The Project will include the following tasks, but not limited to: ▪ Remove approximately 50 meters of existing cast iron water main. ▪ Install approximately 50 meters of water main and tie into existing infrastructure. ▪ County document review of Water and Sewer Master Plan, GMSS, and other documentation ▪ Identification and coordination for the relocation of possible conflicting utilities ▪ Geotechnical investigation and environmental assessment. ▪ Environmental Assessment or studies with permits from regulatory bodies, if required. ▪ Prepare and provide detailed design drawings, design specifications, and tender package. ▪ Construction supervision (subject to approval) including traffic accommodation The scope of this RFP includes all required tests of acceptable quality control. The Consultant will provide the County with all information as required to carry out construction work.
