Description : The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to select one (1) qualified Proponent to enter into Contract (Appendix A) with the Royal Roads University ("Royal Roads") for the provision, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a cloud-based Student Management System ("SMS"). The proposed SMS is to meet the Royal Roads' Professional and Continuing Studies' ("PCS") four (4) main guiding principles for the PCS System Renewal Project, detailed in section 1. The scope of work and responsibilities are also defined in section 1. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence October 25, 2021. This RFP is not an invitation to treat and not a tender or an offer and there is no intention by Royal Roads University to make an offer by releasing this RFP. NOTE TO PROPONENTS: 1. This RFP is for an interim SMS solution to meet the specific requirements of the Royal Roads' PCS programs. A separate RFP for a full SMS for credit and non-credit requirements will be published in the Fall 2021. Royal Roads will decide as part of the full SMS implementation to either replace the PCS SMS or integrate the interim PCS SMS with the full SMS. 2.
