- Located in Central Alberta, Lacombe County is a diverse municipality with a variety of agricultural operations, industrial developments and small businesses, as well as a vibrant petrochemical and oil and gas industry.Tees is a Hamlet in central Alberta, Canada, within Lacombe County. It is located 1 kilometre north of Highway 12, off Highway 821, approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Red Deer. In the latest census, conducted in 2021, Tees had a population of 73 living in 28 of its 31 total private dwellings and this is not expected to change considerably in the near future.There is limited bulk water fill capacity to support the agricultural and other economic activities in the area. Also, the only access to water for residents in the Hamlet of Tees is via private water wells. In the future, the County would like to provide residents with a domestic water distribution system that reliably meets drinking water quality standards.The County has identified the need to develop a reservoir and fill station which can fill larger water trucks more efficiently than the County-s existing bulk-fill station in the area (located in Mirror). It is intended to design the facility to allow integration of future domestic water distribution in Tees.This project will involve development of a conceptual design report and level D cost estimate for a reservoir and bulk water fill facility, located in the Hamlet of Tees.
